Is There a Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow Return Policy?
It’s easy to make a mistake when buying clothes, especially if you do it online without trying it on first. It should also be easy to return clothes you’re unhappy with, but it seldom is. In this article, we’ll take a look into the Rainbow return policy and explain how it works and how much of a hassle returning an item to the company is.
While we’re at it, we’ll provide you with an alternative method for filing a return request. With DoNotPay, you can file a return request with Rainbow in a jiffy. We can help you request a return from various other stores, too, including Ann Taylor, Famous Footwear, and Adidas.
To make a return request, you have to do so within 30 days of the original shipping date. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, the Rainbow return policy states you should contact their customer support immediately to make them aware of the problem. You can get in touch with them by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling them at 1-844-572-4626.
If your item didn’t arrive damaged, but you’re still unhappy with it, you don’t have to call the company before filing your return request.
What you have to do is make sure the product you’re returning fulfills is:
- In resalable condition
Rainbow has a list of items for which they don’t accept return requests. These include:
- Face masks
- Gift cards
- Underwear, lingerie, shapewear, and intimate apparel
- Bathing suits, swimsuits, or bikini sets
- Any orders marked as “final sale”
Rainbow does not accept any exchange requests. If you want another product in return, you will have to place another order.
You can return unsatisfactory Rainbow products by shipping them back or by visiting one of the Rainbow stores. You can use their Store Locator page to find one in your vicinity. Bear in mind that there are return restrictions depending on the place of purchase:
|Place of Purchase||Mail Returns||In-Store Returns|
To file a return request with Rainbow, you should complete the steps below:
- Fill out the return form on the packing slip
- Place the packing slip and the product in a box
- Pack and seal the box with tape
- Remove the original shipping label and affix the return label to the outside of the box
- Drop off the package to any U.S. Post Office location or a local postal carrier
Every Rainbow shipping package contains a prepaid return label. If you decide against using the provided return label, you can use a shipping company of your choice. In that case, ship the package to rainbowshops.com, 2951 Grant Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114.
In case of a damaged product, Rainbow will reimburse you for shipping costs. If you’re unhappy with the product you’ve received, but the item isn’t damaged, you will be the one covering the costs. If you use the return label, the company will deduct $6.95 from your refund amount.
Rainbow claims it takes them up to five business days to review your request from the day they receive your package. If your request is successful, they will send you a refund to the original form of payment. It will take at least one billing cycle before the funds show up in your account.
You can visit any Rainbow store at your convenience to file a return request (not only the one where you originally bought the item). Make sure you bring the packing slip together with the merchandise. If you want Rainbow to accept your request, all original tags have to be in place.
In-store refunds will also go to the original form of payment. The only exception to this is if you made an online purchase using PayPal. In that case, you will receive store credit as a refund.
