Requesting Lumo Refunds Has Never Been Easier
Lumo is a UK train network and service platform working together to provide cutting-edge transport experiences. You can connect through the app, book your tickets online, and even pre-order your on-train meals and snacks. However, if you are unable to make your journey on the day of your Lumo ticket and reservations, you will probably be on the lookout for .
Seeking a refund from Lumo can be a difficult and tedious process. Sometimes, Lumo may not even acknowledge that you are in your rights to request a refund, or a Lumo ticket was purchased using a stolen credit card. When this happens, DoNotPay can help you get the chargeback or refund you deserve.
How to Request a Lumo Refund on Your Own
Lumo has some built-in ability to offer refunds for missed or rescheduled tickets. If you have already bought your travel ticket but are unable to take the trip, you can request a refund through the Lumo Refund Portal. You may also get a delayed train line refund if you are registered for the Delay Repay program.
Lumo prefers to handle all refund requests digitally, but you can send in a refund letter to get the ball rolling.

Lumo Refund Policy
The Lumo train line appears to be reasonably flexible with its refund policy. The process for requesting a refund is to indicate the ticket that you wish to refund, details as to why you want it refunded, and a refund method you would prefer – like credit or repayment to a specific bank account.
You will need to be registered for the Lumo Refund Portal to receive your refund or any further customer service resolution.
- Anytime tickets can be refunded in full at any time, but cost a £10 admin fee to cancel.
- LumoFixed tickets are discounted tickets based on available seats and are non-refundable. However, you may receive an eVoucher for the full amount of a canceled LumoFixed ticket through September 2022.
- LumoFixed tickets can only be voucher-refunded 18 hours or more before the travel date.
- E-Vouchers used to refund Lumo Fixed tickets are valid for up to 12 months.
You will need to provide some amount of evidence to prove that you didn’t take the trip, couldn’t take the trip, or have extenuating circumstances.
