According to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Blue Acorn "...has a pattern of complaints concerning the business failing to disperse funds in a timely manner once an application is approved, failing to provide status and updates of applications, and not responding at all or only providing generic responses to consumers' inquiries."

The BBB reported that due to a large volume of negative customer reviews, incoming complaints, and numerous "scam tracker" inquiries, the private consumer protection agency sent a "Business Practice Inquiry" to Blue Acorn via email. As of June 21, 2021, Blue Acorn hasn't responded to the BBB's inquiry, essentially leaving it hanging just like it has many of its customers.
