Cancelled Train: LNER Anytime Ticket Refund
If you bought an Anytime or Off-Peak ticket and the train you wanted to take was cancelled, you can access your refund online. Once your request is submitted, it will be reviewed for approval.
- Sign into your LNER account
- Navigate to My Bookings
- Select to View the ticket purchase you want to refund
- Click Refund
- Give your reason
- Selects 'Service Disruptions and Cancellations'

Plans Change: LNER Anytime Ticket Refund
If your plans change, you can get your Anytime ticket the same way, but there will be a £10 refund fee.
- Sign into your LNER account
- Navigate to My Bookings
- Select to View the ticket purchase you want to refund

Finally, if you bought an Advance ticket but can't make your train, unfortunately, there are no refunds available. LNER Advance tickets are only refunded if the train has a scheduling failure.
