What are Post Office Broadband's Cancellation Policies?

Post Office Broadband was recently sold to Shell Energy Company, and all of its customers were transferred as well. Don't worry, your price and conditions remain the same, but the cancellation policy may be a little different. According to the Shell Energy Broadband TOS, the following policies are in place:

If You Cancel Before Your Service Start Date

If you cancel during the Cooling Off Period or within 14 calendar days from the date that your form is completed, you can cancel without any charges or fees. If you cancel service at any time up to 2:00 pm on the day before your service is scheduled to begin, you'll receive a complete refund for any fees that you've already paid.

If, on the other hand, you cancel after 2:00 pm on the day before your service is scheduled to begin, you may need to pay for a new line provision since the company may not have had time to cancel its installation.

If You Cancel After Your Service Start Date

If you're service before your minimum term has ended, you'll have to pay an early termination charge. Additionally, if you had a new line provision added, and it's less than six months old, you'll have to pay to have it cancelled as well.

If you choose to cancel service after your minimum term has ended, you can do it without paying a fee, and the company will refund any charges that you've paid ahead toward your service after the cancellation date.
