All non-receipted returns and exchanges at JCPenney require a valid photo ID.

Customers from Connecticut and Massachusetts can receive a sales tax refund if they return items within 90 days of the purchase date.

  • The items are unworn, unaltered, in original condition, and accompanied by the original packaging and accessories

Furniture and Mattresses

You must return furniture and mattresses within 48 hours of delivery.

Eyewear and Contact Lenses

Custom-made eyewear and unopened contact lenses are eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. If you’re unsatisfied with your product, JCPenney offers to exchange it for another of the same or lesser value within 60 days of product acceptance.

Electronics and Fitness Equipment

Electronics and fitness equipment must be returned within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by the product manuals, accessories, and the original sales receipt. JCPenney will charge you a 15% restocking fee and an $85 pick-up fee.
