Customers from Connecticut and Massachusetts can receive a sales tax refund if they return items within 90 days of the purchase date.

You can return your photos within 60 days of purchase, accompanied by the original sales receipt, for a full refund on the original payment form.
Digital images and CDs are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
JCPenney will only accept dresses with the green return tag still in place.
You can refund fine jewelry and watches if:
- The return takes place within 60 days of the purchase date and you have the original receipt
- The items are unworn, unaltered, in original condition, and accompanied by the original packaging and accessories
You must return furniture and mattresses within 48 hours of delivery.
Custom-made eyewear and unopened contact lenses are eligible for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. If you’re unsatisfied with your product, JCPenney offers to exchange it for another of the same or lesser value within 60 days of product acceptance.
Electronics and fitness equipment must be returned within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by the product manuals, accessories, and the original sales receipt. JCPenney will charge you a 15% restocking fee and an $85 pick-up fee.

Smartwatches and fitness trackers must be returned within ten days of the purchase date in the original condition and with the original packaging and all accompanying accessories.
Custom blinds, shades, and draperies can only be refunded if they are:
- Made incorrectly

- Face masks

- Altered items
