  2. Only letters, postcards, and photographs are allowed to be mailed. All mail is subject to contraband search.

  1. The inmates at cannot receive calls. They can only make outbound calls.
  2. They may call by collect or by using Global Tel Link (GTL).
  3. All non-attorney calls are recorded and are restricted to 20 minutes in length.

Sending Money

  • Inmates can receive funds via MoneyGram, online transfer, mail, or over-the-phone.
  • Online deposits can be made by JPAY.
  • For MoneyGram Deposits, simply go to any MoneyGram kiosk at CVS or Walmart. Have the prisoner ID handy, and use receive code 5189.
  • Over-the-phone deposits are also managed by JPAY. Simply call 1-800-574-5729 to make a transfer.
  • Mail deposits are again managed by JPAY. You will need to get a money order from the US Post Office and make it payable to JPAY. In the memo field, include the inmate's name and ID number. All mail deposits need to include a Money Order Deposit Slip. Mail the money order and deposit slip to

Visitation

  1. Visitors must be pre-approved before they are allowed to visit with inmates.
  2. To get approved, call 804-589-4251 or apply online.
  3. You will be asked to complete paperwork before being added to the approved visitor's list.
  4. This can take 30 days to process for Virginia residents and up to 90 days for out-of-state residents.
  5. After being approved, visits don't require scheduling in advance.
  6. Visiting hours are Saturday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm & Sunday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
