Contact an Inmate in Person During Visitation

Visitation hours at La Tuna Correctional Institution will depend on whether you want to visit an inmate at the camp, the FCL, or the FCI. Also, only those on the inmate's visitation list can be allowed to visit.

Visitors at FCI are allowed only from 8.00 AM to 3.00 PM on Mondays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

FCL and Camp visitations occur from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Up to five adults and four children can visit an inmate at once. All inmates have six visiting points every month.

Segregated inmates are only allowed two hours of video visits with only four visitors, including children. The visitation schedule for all the inmates in La Tuna Correctional Facility is as follows:

For inmates in Camp Units 1, 2, 3 is:

  • Saturdays from 8:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M
  • Saturdays from 10:45 A.M. - 12:45 P.M

All visitors are allowed to carry the following items:

  • Clear diaper bag
  • Sealed factory brand food for the baby
  • Only four plastic bottles
  • A container of baby wipes
  • A small cloth
  • A maximum of 6 diapers
  • A pacifier
  • A clear bag of not more than 4" x 6" in size

The outgoing calls will be charged on their accounts.

How to Send Money to Inmates at La Tuna Correctional Facility

When an inmate is booked at the La Tuna correctional facility, a trust account is created for them. The account is to help them pay for items such as:

  1. Western Union. Download and fill out a Western Union form, or you can visit the Western Union Website and fill the form online. Ensure you have added both the inmate's name and ID number before submitting it. You can deposit the money through a debit or credit card.
