All About The Oregon's Coffee Creek Correctional Facility

If you have a friend or loved one , you may already know how challenging it can be to stay in touch with them.

Oregon's prison system imposes dozens of rules limiting what you can and can't send to inmates, and it can be extremely challenging to keep track of them. Get things wrong, and your letter or package can go in the trash. Don't know about the dress code for visitation, or even what medications you can bring for yourself? You could be turned away.

What if you're not sure whether your friend is incarcerated at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility? How can you find out?

We'll go over some tips for finding and contacting an inmate at Coffee Creek as laid out by the prison's complicated regulations. And then we'll show you how easy it is to locate and interact with her using DoNotPay.

If you're not sure your friend or loved one is incarcerated at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, you can look them up on the ODOC Offender Search website.

Now:

  • Follow the instructions on the page if you do not know the exact spelling or full name of the inmate.
  • Click "Search".

You'll be taken to a page with the inmate's location and information. If you did not originally have the inmate's SID number, it will be provided for you.

How to Contact a Coffee Creek Correctional Facility Inmate

There are several ways you can communicate with a CCCF prisoner once you have their SID number. Most have stringent rules and conditions, and some require interaction with a third-party inmate funding company.

Contact an inmate by phone or video message

Inmates cannot receive incoming calls, but they can call you if they have money in their third-party phone and concessions account system, which can be extremely confusing at first.

Access Corrections allows loved ones to add money to inmate accounts, therefore enabling the inmate to make phone calls using the ODOC's contracted phone service, ICS Corrections, Inc.

More information you need to know about inmate phone and video calls:

  • If an inmate contacts you at a phone number they haven't called from CCCF before, you'll have to go through several steps to validate your number. This can only be done if YOU get an account with ICS Corrections, as well.
  • You can use your ICS account to leave an inmate a voicemail for $0.50 per message at 1-877-831-0390.
  • Duration is limited to 30 minutes per call.
  • All communications will be recorded and reviewed by the prison staff, except those between the inmate and their team.

Contact a Coffee Creek Correctional Facility Inmate via Mail

These are the regulations pertaining to sending letters to CCCF.

  1. You must include a return address with your full name.
  2. Envelopes may not be more than ¼" thick.
  3. Envelopes and contents cannot be marked with lipstick or scented in any way.
  4. Letters cannot include the following:
  • Glitter
  • Stickers
  • Anything with adhesive, other than the envelope seal
  • Greeting cards with musical chips
  • Blank paper
  • Self-addressed, stamped envelopes
  • Pornography and other banned material as defined by Oregon Department of Corrections
  • All letters other than communications will be opened and read by CCCF staff.
  • Inmates cannot receive packages directly from outside friends and family.
