  • Turn off—Disables notifications for changes in the status of those you follow

Microsoft Outlook

  • Select the message
  • Click on the Action button
  • Select Create rule (Even with no parameters, the rule will delete further emails from the sender by default)

iCloud Mail

  • Open the iCloud Mail app
  • Press the cogwheel icon on the left
  • Select Add a rule
  • In the is from section, type in the sender’s address
  • Select Then and choose Move to trash

Native applications like Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud Mail will block spam emails from the chosen sender and prevent them from reaching your inbox. If other LinkedIn users find your email through the service, you will have to block their addresses.

  1. Navigating to the sender’s profile
  2. Clicking the dotted More icon
  3. Selecting Report
  4. Choosing an action in the pop-up window and following instructions
  5. Clicking Submit

Remove Your Email From Your LinkedIn Account

If you’re sick of LinkedIn emails spamming your main email account, you can remove it from LinkedIn. Because LinkedIn requires that you have a primary email account, you should create a secondary email that you’ll use only for LinkedIn. It will allow you to minimize the number of emails that reach your main account.

To set up a new account as the primary one, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Me icon
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy
  3. Go to the Login and security section in the Account tab
  4. Next to Email Addresses, press Change
  5. Click Add email address and add the new email
  6. Next to the former email, press Remove

Your secondary email address will now receive notifications, but the original one won’t.
