How to Cancel a Poshmark Order as a Buyer

Sometimes you might purchase something on Poshmark via their Buy Now feature, but begin to have second thoughts about your purchase. If this is the case and the item hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel your order as long as it's within 3 hours of the time you made the purchase.

How to Cancel a Poshmark Order After 3 Hours

If your order hasn't shipped yet and you made your purchase by sending the seller an offer, you might still be able to cancel your order after the 3-hour deadline. If you want to cancel after the 3-hour deadline, contact the seller to make a request to cancel your order.

How to Cancel a Poshmark Order Before 7 Days

Once again, if your order has already shipped within 7 days of the date you created your order, cancellation isn't possible. Still, there may be a time when a seller is unusually slow about fulfilling your order, and you've since found something else you'd prefer to purchase. In this case, if you sent an offer and the seller accepted it, you can still make a request to the seller to cancel your order (within 7 days).

Poshmark themselves will cancel any order that hasn't shipped within 21 days and hasn't been canceled by the buyer. Buyers can also cancel a Poshmark order if the item hasn't shipped within 7 days from the date of purchase.

How to Cancel a Delayed or Accidental Poshmark Order

If an order has been delayed, you can execute the cancellation process on the start of the 8th day after the date of purchase. To begin the cancellation process, take the following steps:

If you are at the Poshmark website, log in, then select your profile photo in the top-right corner. If you're using their app, select "Account Tab (@username)."
Next, choose My Purchases.
Select the delayed order you want to cancel.
Next, select the Problems/Order Inquiry and from there, choose Order is Delayed.
To finalize the cancellation, select Cancel Order.

If you want to cancel an order you made by accident, you can do so if you made the order through Poshmark's Buy Now feature and it's within 3 hours of the time you placed the order. Simply follow the same instructions listed above, except select Accidental Purchase instead of Order is Delayed as your reason for the cancellation.

Sometimes a seller needs to cancel an order before it ships. Perhaps they ran out of an item, or they noticed the item was listed with an incorrect price, the size was listed incorrectly, etc. If you're a seller and want to cancel an order, simply take the following steps:

If you are at the Poshmark website, log in, then select your profile photo in the top-right corner. If you're using their app, select "Account Tab (@username)."
Next, choose My Sales.
Choose the order you want to cancel.
Click the Problems/Inquiry option, then select Cancel Order.
Choose the reason why you've decided to cancel the sale.
If you're using the Poshmark website to cancel the sale, click on Submit to complete the cancellation.
