How to Cancel Your Guitar Center Order

You can only cancel an order by calling 1-866-498-7882 and getting assistance from customer service. They will locate your order and change or cancel it before it ships out.

What Orders Cannot Be Canceled?

Once an order has been shipped out, it cannot be canceled. It can, however, be returned and refunded. Items must be returned in original packaging with signs of wear or be charged a 15% fee to be restocked. You have a 45-day window to return items with three exceptions:

  1. 14-day Returns: recording devices, DJ equipment, workstation keyboards, rack signal processors, and lighting/fog machines
  2. 3-day Return: vintage instruments
  3. No Returns: clearance items, discontinued items, Apple hardware, opened software, software downloads, books, CDs, videos, vinyl records, turntable cartridges, tubes, earbuds, earplugs, and in-ear monitors, clothing, special orders.

Returns for band and orchestra items will incur a fee ($10) to sanitize the instrument. Violin Bows will be charged $4 to restock, mouthpieces over $300 will be charged $8 to sanitize, and under $300 will be $4. There may be some issues that Guitar Center will not assist with. What do you do then?
