Trips in progress	If you have a trip in progress, you won't be able to close your account until 72 hours after the trip ends.
Balances	If you have any kind of claim in progress or balance due, you won't be able to close your Turo account until those charges are resolved. It includes tickets, tolls, and fees.
Listed vehicles	If you have vehicles listed on your account, they'll be removed when you delete your account and no longer be available for booking.

How to Close Your Turo Account Yourself

Verify Account if Necessary

You'll need to log in to your account to close it, so if you don't know your password or can't access your email account, resolve that first. If you need to change your password, you can request a reset link on the login page. If you've lost access to the email address associated with your Turo account, you can speak with a Verification agent through online live chat to regain access to your account.

Turo does not accept third-party requests to close accounts, so you may have trouble requesting that Turo close someone else's account. If you'd like to close your account, there are two ways to do so.

On the App

To close your account from your phone, follow these steps.

Open the app.

Click "close my account" at the bottom of the page.

Log in to your account.
