The easiest way to earn points is on your regular grocery purchases. Most grocery items will get you one point per dollar spent. Fred Meyer also runs promotions with point multipliers, so you can get up to four points per dollar spent when those run. Purchases made at Fuel Centers do not earn points.

Prescriptions
Prescriptions can earn you fuel points in three ways:
- Purchase of a non-federally-funded one-month prescription: 25 points
- Purchase of a non-federally-funded three-month prescription: 75 points
- Prescriptions covered by federal programs: One point per dollar of out-of-pocket spend

Gift Cards
Gift card purchases get 2 points per dollar spent. Purchases of Kroger gift cards and some prepaid and variable-load cards do not earn points.

Fred Meyer Jewelers
Fred Meyer Jewelers is also associated with the Kroger family of stores. Like grocery purchases, every dollar spent at Fred Meyer Jewelers earns you a fuel point.
Program Limits and Point Expiration
You can redeem up to 1000 points per fuel purchase, and the discount is valid for your first 35 gallons. There is no limit to the number of points you can earn, but keep an eye on the dates you earned your points. Points expire on the last day of the month after they're earned (e.g. points earned in January expire on February 28th).
How to Sign Up for Fred Meyer Fuel Rewards
Fred Meyer customers can sign up for the Fuel Program online. They can also fill out an application at the customer service desk in-store or with a cashier at checkout.

Fred Meyer belongs to the Kroger family of stores. Rewards can be earned at any store in the Kroger network, and redemption locations are located across the country.
