What Maternity Benefits Are Northrop Grumman Employees Receiving?

Maternity benefits are among the benefits that Northrop Grumman is proud to offer. The employees are entitled to certain maternity benefits, which is a highlight of the company's excellent benefits package that is extended to employees.

The company offers both maternity and paternity leave benefits to expectant parents that work for the company. If you work for Northrop Grumman, you are entitled to an average of the following (depending on how long you've been with the company and the position you work in):

Northrop Grumman allows their employees an average of 2 weeks of paid maternity leave and up to 6 more weeks of unpaid maternity leave when they are welcoming a new child into the family.

Northrop Grumman allows their employees an average of 2 weeks of paid paternity leave and up to 12 more weeks of unpaid paternity leave when they are welcoming a new child into the family.

Do Northrop Grumman Employees Qualify for Federal FMLA Leave?

The federal program failed Family Medical and Leave Act (FMLA) is a nation-wide program that requires full-time employers to give their employees off additional time to care for a seriously ill family member or to welcome a child into their family. The program will cover some employees from Northrop Grumman who are full-time and have been with the company for a certain period of time.

You can also take the time to care for ill loved ones within your immediate family (i.e. mother, father, spouse, child, etc.)

  • To care for the employee's spouse, parent, or child with a serious illness
  • A serious health condition that leaves them unable to perform essential functions of their jobs
  • Any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact that the employee's spouse, son, daughter, or parent is a covered military member on "covered active duty
