Pay Now Reservations

Pay now reservations made on hotels or rental cars are eligible for the Best Price Guarantee. You only need to provide some basic information within 24 hours of your booking to be eligible for the refund.

Express Deals

You need only provide the following information to get a refund for an Express Deal.

For car rentals:

  1. The lower rate you found in one of the brands presented during the booking process

For airlines:

  1. A lower rate available to the general public (no special rates)
  2. Airline
  3. Flight number
  4. Date
  5. Cabin
  6. The number of passengers.
  7. Fare type (cancel and change policy should match; if flights booked are cancellable or changeable the lower fare should also be cancellable or changeable)

Pay Later Rates

If you book a pay later rate with a car rental service, you can be refunded the difference if you provide the following information within 24 hours:

  • Rental partner
  • Pick-up and drop-off location, date, and time
  • Car class

Disclosed Rates

If you book an airline with a disclosed rate and wish for a refund, provide the following information within 24 hours:

  • Lower price available to the general public (no special fares)

Exclusions

There are a few exclusions to Priceline's Best Price Guarantee Policy.

  1. If you are not a VIP member, you are not eligible to claim any Best Price refund.
  2. If you book a same-day Express Deal®, you cannot ask for a refund.
  3. Special fares (corporate, military, student, children, senior citizen, groups, organizations) or discounted fares (wholesaler, consolidator, convention, purchased through coupons, loyalty, or rewards programs) are not eligible for a price match.
  4. Partially refunded, canceled, or promotional package fares that come with additional amenities are not eligible for a refund.
  5. If car rental rates change based on age, driver's location, or driver's type of security deposit, Priceline cannot offer a price match.
  6. Certain airlines are not eligible for the Best Price Guarantee, including Air France, Austrian, British Airways, Brussels, Frontier, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Spirit Airlines, Swiss, Ukraine Airlines.
