Instead of mailing in a printed form, use online services to send parental leave requests. SDI, for instance, is a California-based online service that is accessible 24 hours each day, simple to use, and safe.

How to file a parental leave claim online

  • Gather information required: provide information on your name, social security number, driver's license number, company details and rewards given before the parental leave claim.
  • Register: To submit one-time signup, go to Benefit Programs Online (BPO) and then pick SDI Online, which will take you to the Registration Option.
