FCI Greenville Federal Correctional Institute Satellite Camp

The FCI Greenville Satellite Camp is located at the same address. The camp houses around 200 female minimum-security inmates. Due to overcrowding at the north-central United States facility in 2000, the lowest level security inmates were moved to the camp. They can take part in a wide variety of educational and vocational programs. They can also work for a monthly allowance with the male offenders.

Contacting Inmates at FCI Greenville

Before you can connect with the inmate, you will need to know where they are located.

  1. You will need to go to the federal inmate search website for inmates in federal facilities.
  2. Enter the offender's first and last name or inmate registration number.
  3. The site will inform you of the last known location for the offender if they are in a federal facility.
  4. For offenders in a state facility, you will have to search for the state's offender list.

All mail is opened, inspected, and read before being delivered to the inmate. Inmates are not able to receive money deposits by mail. They are also not allowed to receive stamps, paper, or envelopes not purchased in the commissary.

Visitation

Visitors are now finally being allowed in for a visit again. Inmates can have two adult visitors per visit, and they have a strict no-contact policy. If contact is made, the visit is to be terminated immediately. All visitors will be searched and pass through a metal detector, and cars are subject to being searched if needed. Visiting hours are divided by housing divisions. Each visit can be up to two hours.

Inmates can receive emails of up to two pages of text only. All communications are monitored just like regular mail and phone calls.
