For a Heartgard prescription you got in 2021, you only have until the end of March 2022 to submit your claim. For your next prescription, you've got until the end of March 2023 to file the rebate claim. So far, so good—but you've also got to send in the original receipt, which may be something you get digitally.
To make it even more frustrating, the Heartgard website says that the rebates aren't offered at every vet's office.
How Do I Know if My Prescription Is Eligible for Heartgard Rebates?
Not every Heartgard purchase is rebate-eligible. To qualify, you've got to lay out some cash—buying two medications at a time or a year's supply of the medication.
- Buy Nexgard or Frontline (for fleas and ticks) and Heartgard Plus (heartworms) for a $60 rebate.
- Buy a 12-month supply of Heartgard for a $15 rebate.
