Purchased Affected Models
In order to qualify for a Kia gas rebate, you must have been the owner of a Kia, which was released in one of the following years:
- 2011
- 2012
- 2013

Vehicles Purchased Before November 02, 2012:
The second stipulation is that you must have made the Kia purchase before November 02, 2012 (which was when the settlement was initiated). The vehicle could have been purchased new or used before November 02, 2012, to be considered for the gas rebate or lump sum settlement.
How to Submit a Kia Gas Rebate Claim on Your Own
To get a gas rebate for your Kia, you will need to take the following steps:
- Go to Kia's website to see if your vehicle qualifies.
- If your vehicle has been affected, you will need to be registered. If you are not yet registered, you can do so by calling the Kia Fuel Economy Rating Adjustment Program Center at (855) 912-5648.
- Once approved and registered, you must make an appointment at your preferred local Kia dealership and schedule a time to get a reimbursement assessment made.
- Once the assessment is made, you should receive a rebate from Kia within a few weeks.
