Most of the well-known properties on the Strip belong to a hotel family. In the case of the Palazzo and its sister property, the Venetian, the hotels are part of IHG. Resort Fees

Continuing a common practice on the Strip, the Palazzo charges a nightly resort fee of $45 to cover the cost of amenities. With the resort fee, guests have

If your reservation did not include the resort fee, you can purchase one of the three tiers of internet separately:

  1. 3 MBps - Recommended for email and standard definition streaming
  2. 5 MBps - Improved streaming and browsing speeds
  3. 10 MBps - Standard in suites, recommended for video conferencing

Deposits and Cancellation Fees

When your reservation is confirmed, you will be charged a deposit in the amount of one night's stay. If you cancel at least 72 hours before your stay, this is fully refundable. If you cancel within 72 hours of your stay, you forfeit your deposit. Once you arrive, you will be charged a deposit to cover any damages incurred during your stay. The deposit is $150 per night and will be refunded to you when you check out. If you decide to cut your stay short, you will still be charged the full amount of your reservation unless you notified the hotel of your reservation change at check-in. If the rate you booked is nonrefundable, you cannot change the dates of your stay at check-in.

Extra Occupancy Fee

Rates quoted at the Palazzo are based on having two guests per room. If there are additional guests, the fee per person varies by room tier:

Standard rooms$50 per night
Prestige rooms$75 per night

This fee only applies to guests over the age of 12.

Miscellaneous Fees

There are several other fees you may see in your folio if you take advantage of everything the Palazzo has to offer:

  1. Early check-in or late check-out - There is no set fee for this service, There may be extra charges for the service if the hotel has low availability.
  2. Additional Amenities - You can request a refrigerator for your room for an additional $40 per day.
  3. Package Handling - If you must send or receive packages while staying at the hotel, the Fedex Office Center at the Venetian can assist you. You will be charged a service fee based on the weight of the package.

Refunds

Refunds take longer to get to your account if you pay with a debit card. Guests who use debit cards may be waiting up to 20 business days for their refund to process.

Unlike many other properties on the Strip, both valet and self-parking are free at the Palazzo and the Venetian. If you would rather not worry about a car at all, there are shuttles to and from the airport for approximately $15 one way.

How to Lower Your Bill at the Palazzo

Both the Palazzo and the Venetian are IHG member hotels. If you book your stay with IHG Rewards points, you will not be charged the resort fee. If you are eligible for the Clark County Transient Lodging Tax Exemption, you can also request that taxes be waived.
