  2. You must be 18 or older, or have someone of this age present, during pick up.
  3. You or a designated person need to sign an agreement indicating you are releasing the appliance to Consumers.

The rebate process is different for each company. Consumers Energy has an Appliance Recycling Rebates page that allows you to schedule a pick-up easily. You can do so online or via phone.

Click the "Schedule a Pick-Up" button to get started. You'll need to provide:

  • Your service address zip code

Note that the information you provide should match the account holder details the company has on file. Check the box indicating you agree to the eligibility requirements and terms of conditions. Click "Continue" and select a date and time that works best for you for pick-up.
