How to Connect With an Inmate at Washington Corrections Center

Washington Corrections Center is an adult male prison located in Shelton, Washington. The prison was launched in 1964 and had a capacity of 1,300 inmates.

The facility has both medium and maximum security units within its premises and a different special unit― the Skill Building Unit, for inmates with mental illness, severe to moderate. Inmates within the unit are taught special skills to help them cope with prison life, including social skills. There are several programs within Washington Corrections Center to help inmates improve their lives in preparation for rejoining society.

When a loved one is incarcerated, it often feels like society has turned its back on them. It's therefore important to keep in touch with them to help them rehabilitate and still feel a sense of belonging.

With such a huge population and strict measures, getting in touch with an inmate can be frustrating. DoNotPay can help you locate your incarcerated loved ones in minutes and stay in touch with them even when they are transferred to a different facility.
