These products were sold between November 2020 and April 2021. If you or your child consumed them, don't panic. It's rare for the metallic mesh to cause injury, although it can sometimes cause significant damage. You can find the product lot code on the label below the barcode and above the expiry date.

At this point, it might be considered too late to claim a refund, but the process is worth remembering for any future recalls. It is also still worth asking, however, as you will get nothing if you don't and again, vitamins have a long shelf life. What Happened With the VitaFusion Recall?

Two consumers reported that they found a metallic mesh material, likely related to the tamper-proof seals typically used on vitamins, in VitaFusion products. The investigation determined potential contamination in products manufactured between October 29, 2020, and November 30, 2020.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported, although ingesting the mesh can rarely lead to damage to the digestive tract.
