You can't call an inmate at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women, but they can call you. VADOC uses a phone system that is operated through  ConnectNetwork by Global Tel*Link.

Inmates are welcome to call family members, friends and legal aid, as long as they are on the approved call list of up to 15 numbers. Calls are limited to 20 minutes at a time.

There are three ways that inmates can make phone calls:

  1. Call Collect: Inmates can call loved ones on their approved call list who will accept collect calls.

  3. Offender Pin Debit Accounts: Inmates can set up a PIN Debit Account to fund their calls. If you'd like to contribute to this account, you can visit the ConnectNetwork website. To do this, you'll need to create an account, and you'll need to know your' inmate's 7-digit state ID number.

Sending Mail

You are encouraged to send letters, postcards, greeting cards and photos to your loved one or pen pal who is at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women. Make sure your photos are appropriate (no nudity or offensive images) and keep your letters at a maximum of three pages front and back.

When your mail is received at the facility, it will be photocopied, and the copied mail will be distributed to the offender. All original mail will be shredded.
