How to Maintain Contact With a Sierra Conservation Center Inmate

When a friend or close family member is incarcerated, it can be extremely stressful. You just want to talk to them and to make sure they're doing alright. You also want to get them what they need for their personal care and safety. Connecting with a Sierra Conservation Center inmate isn't easy. In fact, it's somewhat difficult, and if you aren't careful, your loved one may not be able to see or contact you at all.

Dealing with the rules and regulations of visiting with and communicating with a prisoner can be frustrating. At the same time, you understand that security measures have to be taken to protect the inmates and staff. If you want to contact an inmate at Sierra Conservation Center, DoNotPay can help you make sure you do it right.

Where Is the Sierra Conservation Center Located?

SCC is one of only two prisons in California responsible for training and placing male inmates in the Conservation Camp Program. SCC consists of 16 camps located from Central California to the southern border. Although prison is no place to be, inmates at the Sierra Conservation Center have an opportunity to give back to the community.

Inmates and staff are trained in firefighting techniques and assist in fire suppression throughout southern California. Each of the camps is located in a rural area in a self-contained environment. Inmates are dispatched to help fight wildfires and other emergencies, as well as aiding in community projects.
