Special Announcement Regarding Travelling to the Kingdom After COVID-19 From the Embassy of Saudi Arabia

  • As of 17th May 2021, traveling to and from Saudi Arabia has been resumed.
  • Prior to boarding the plane to Saudi Arabia, foreign nationals over the age of 8 must provide a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken 72 hours.
  • Foreign nationals who have not received a vaccine must quarantine for 7 days in a hotel or an accommodation approved by the Saudi Ministry of Tourism. The cost of the quarantine will be included in the ticket price.
  • On the sixth day of the quarantine, the traveler must take a PCR test.
  • Non-Saudi citizens must provide the airline with valid health insurance that covers the risks that may arise from the infection with COVID-19.
  • Vaccinated travelers do not have to quarantine provided that they can present proof of receiving the full vaccine (which requires both doses if appropriate for that vaccine make) before arrival. The vaccines approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health are:

  • The arrival into Saudi Arabia on the international tourism e-visa is suspended until further notice due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
