How to get to the Mexican Consulate in Portland?

The Consulate General of Mexico is located on 1305 SW 12th Avenue. It is in a low-rise building right next to an intersection and a J R’s Convenience Shop across. You may reach the consulate through the following means:

Driving

You may reach the consulate by driving, leaving your car at a parking garage, and then walking to the consulate. The parking areas near the consulate are:

  • 1305 SW 11th Ave Parking - This is the closest parking garage which is only a minute walk away from the consulate. It is right next to a Coava Coffee Roasters cafe shop. From the garage, head west on SW Jefferson St toward SW 12th Ave, and the consulate will be on your left.
  • U-Park - The parking lot is on 1121 SW Columbia St -- the next block to the consulate and only a couple of minutes’ walk away. It is operated by City Center Parking and costs $4 per hour. From the garage, head south and turn right onto SW Columbia St. Turn right onto SW 12th Ave and the consulate will be on your left.

Taking the Bus 

Bus numbers 6, 45, 55, 58, and 68 stop at the SW Columbia & 12th bus stop. It is on a street intersection which is only a minute walk away. From the bus stop, head east on SW Columbia St and turn left onto SW 12th Ave. The consulate will be on your left.

Taking the Train 

The closest light rail station is on SW 11th & Jefferson (B, NS) which is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. From the train station, head south on SW 11th Ave and turn right onto SW Jefferson St. Turn left onto SW 12th Ave and the consulate will be on your right.
