  • Driving – The nearest parking space is 17 minutes walk away from the German embassy. The 86-space car park is operated by SP Plus Corporation in MacArthur Center, 4817 U St NW, Friendship Heights, and costs $4 per hour. The entrance is on the north side of U St. NW between MacArthur Blvd. NW and V St. NW and marked by a black “Central Parking'' sign.
  • Taking the train and taxi thereafter – The nearest train stations are on:
    • Rosslyn (M, Blue, Orange, and Silver) - The train station is around a six to twelve minutes drive away depending on traffic conditions. From the station, catch a taxi  N Lynn St, US-29 N/Key Bridge, Canal Rd NW, and Foxhall Rd NW to Washington and turn right on the corner of 4645. The embassy will be on your left.
    • Foggy Bottom-GWU (M, Blue, Orange, and Silver) - The train station is around seven to fourteen minutes away from the embassy. From the station, take a taxi to continue to K St NW and drive along US-29 S, Canal Rd NW, and Foxhall Rd NW and turn right on the corner of 4645. The embassy will be on your left.
  • Taking the bus – The D6 bus stops at the following stations:
    • MacArthur Blvd NW & Reservoir Rd NW - The stop is eight minutes walk away from the embassy.  From the bus station, head northwest on MacArthur Blvd NW and turn right toward Reservoir Rd NW. Take a sharp left on the corner of 4645 and a slight right. The embassy will be on your left.
    • MacArthur Blvd NW & Our Lady Of  Victory Church - The stop is 11 minutes walk away from the German embassy. From the bus station, head southeast on MacArthur Blvd NW toward Reservoir Rd NW. Take a sharp left on the corner of  4645 and a slight right. The embassy will be on your left.
