Can Employers Delete Bad Reviews on Indeed?

Indeed will inspect and investigate reviews if they are flagged either by an employer or a candidate who believes the review is inappropriate according to the above standards.

As an employer, you have more hoops to jump through as naturally, you have a clear motive for requesting that the review be removed.

Here are the steps for appealing to Indeed to have a bad review deleted from the platform:

  1. Go to Indeed.com
  2. Scroll to the bottom navigation options, and select "Help Center".
  3. Scroll to the bottom of that page, and select "Employer Help Center".
  4. In the field at the top of the page, type "Remove a bad review".
  5. Scroll down and click on the article titled, "How to manage company reviews"
  6. Scroll down to the section titled "To Report a Review".
  7. Read the section, and click on the link to proceed to the "Submit a Request" page.
  8. Under "What Best Describes You?", select "Employer or Advertiser".
  9. Under "What Do You Need Help With?", select "Company Pages".
  10. Fill out the form and be VERY specific in the "Message" field:
  • Include a date and description of the questionable review
  • Explain why the review does not meet community standards
